मुझी से कहने लगा "देखो पापा मैं तुमसे बड़ा हो गया" ।

मैंने कहा "बेटा इस खूबसूरत ग़लतफ़हमी में भले ही जकडे रहना

मगर मेरा हाथ पकड़े रखना"

"जिस दिन ये हाथ छूट जायेगा

बेटा तेरा रंगीन सपना भी टूट जाएगा"

"दुनिया वास्तव में उतनी हसीं नही है

देख तेरे पौँव तले अभी जमीन नही है"

"मैं तो बाप हूँ बेटा बहुत खुश हो जाऊंगा

जिस दिन तू वास्तव में मुझसे बड़ा हो जाएगा

मगर बेटे कंधे पे नही जब तू जमीन पे खड़ा हो जाएगा...
